- If it is cold outside, there is a risk of condensing humidity mostly in the corners of outside walls. Especially if the flow of air is hindered by furniture placed directly at outside walls and corners. See 7 tips to avoid dampness in a flat. And some more on the background: Sources of humidity.
If you see damp during a cold winter and you cannot follow the advice given above because you are off to work or do a lot of drying of clothing inside for weather reasons you could also get a dehumidifier from Management (via "Get in touch"). See the Users-Guide.
- The porch light is permanently connected and can not be switched off. It has a motion detector and a daylight sensor.
- The flood light to the garden and the alarm box are not working. The alarm system has been removed, the box on the outside is a leftover.
- The light switches in front of the bathroom are (left) downlights in the bath, (middle) extractor fan shower, (right) future use for socket and wall light in bathroom (not used as not allowed in UK). - The light switches over the radiator at the door to the garden are: (left) downlights sitting area,
(middle) light under hanging units over worktop (can be additionally two step dimmed by button next to entrance door from hallway),
(right) downlights kitchen area.
- The electricity meter shows kWh used, the gas meter shows after pressing the 9 on the number pad the m³ gas used.
- The shower:

left end: clockwise:Handset
conterclockwise: overhead

right end: clockwise: cold
counterclockwise: hot, more than 38℃: push button (security feature)
when not used for some time it may need some force to get to cold water.

- The two gray bins are for general waste and are emptied every other week in turn with the blue paper bins.
At the end of a year a new schedule will be distributed, the copy for 2021 should be on the worktop in the kitchen.
